15 cooked lasagna noodles
2 cups cottage cheese
1 egg
¼ tsp of onion powder
2 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp of pepper
½ tsp of onion powder
1 cup of butter
1 cup of chopped onions
Sour cream to taste on the side

Directions:
Directions:
Line bottom of a greased 9 x 13 baking dish with noodles. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, egg and ¼ tsp of onion powder. Spoon mixture over noodles and spread evenly. Cover with another layer of lasagna noodles. In a separate bowl, mix potatoes, cheese, salt, pepper and ½ tsp of onion powder. Spoon mixture over noodles and spread evenly. Cover with another layer of noodles. Melt butter in a frying pan and sauté onions. Pour over noodles. Cover and bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with sour cream. Makes 8 large servings.
