1¼ c white sugar
1 c shortening
2 eggs
¼ c Karo light corn syrup
1 tbsp clear vanilla
3 c all-purpose flour
¾ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar,shortening, egg,corn syrup and vanilla till creamy.
Mix flour,baking soda, baking powder, salt and add slowly to creamed mixture.
Dough can either be rolled and cut with cookie cutters, or made into balls and pressed with glass.
