1 lb. cooking apples
4 oz butter
3 oz sugar
2 oz raisins
3 oz brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
6 oz porridge oats

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core, and chop apples and gently fry in half the butter for about 7 minutes until nearly soft. Stir in sugar and raisins, turn into a 2-pint ovenproof dish. Melt remaining butter in pan, stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and porridge oats and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes until oats are crisp.
