8 slices - top round, paper-thin
4 - bacon slices
8 T. - onion, chopped
salt & pepper
mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Spread each slice of beef with mustard, salt and pepper, 1 T. chopped onion and ½ slice bacon. Roll up each slice tightly and secure with string or wooden toothpicks. Flour lightly and brown in hot fat. Pour off excess fat. Add water and simmer 1 hour or more until tender. Make gravy with pan drippings. Serve with rice, noodles, or dumplings.
