1 c. Oatmeal
1 c. Brown Sugar
3/4 c. Flour
1 c. Cold Butter cut up
1 t. Cinnamon

3-4 c. Apples sliced

Mix all of the dry ingredients. Using a paring knife thinly sliced the cold Butter into pieces. Pour over the sliced apples Bake at 350º for 25-45 minutes, depending on the desired crispness of the apples.

I tried a many different crisp recipes and all were failures. Kelly said use your Mom's recipe. I called her for the recipe and it has never failed me. For years I used the little scrap of paper I originally wrote the recipe on.
