2 cups green tomato pulp
2/3 cup raisins
2/3 cup boiling water
2/3 cup shortening
2 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Grease & flour loaf pans
Preheat oven to 350º
Cup up tomatoes - blend in blender
Set raisins to soak in 2/3 cup boiling water - set aside to cool
Cream shortening & sugar until fluffy
Add eggs & mix well
Stir in tomato pulp & raisins
Combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves and nuts
Add to tomato mixture
Bake 45 minutes or until done - check with toothpick
Remove from pans immediately & cool on racks
