Directions:
Use a steaming bag or basket to steam beans for 2 minutes and then plunge into ice water to stop the cooking process.
Heat 2-3 tsp. olive oil in a medium to large skillet.
Add green beans and toss to coat.
Zest lemon onto beans and add the juice to the beans as you continue cooking.
Add sliced almonds and salt to taste and toss with beans.
Cook until beans are hot and almonds are beginning to brown.
Remove from heat and place in serving dish.
Add butter and toss to coat prior to serving.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I often leave the almonds out of this recipe if I'm serving family since Garrett has a nut allergy, but the almonds add an elegant touch and another layer of texture and flavor.
You can steam the green beans up to a day prior and refrigerate until ready to finish.
