Prosciutto or Pancetta strips
Olive oil
Black pepper
Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º F.
Wash and snap asparagus stems, discarding tough bottom third.
You can roast them without pre-cooking but it is more difficult to get them tender without burning the meat, so it is best to steam them for 2-3 minutes and then cool.
I use a steaming bag put you can use a steamer basket.
Place on foil lined cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
Put 2-4 asparagus spears together and wrap around the middle with Prosciutto or Pancetta, whichever you are using, and place seam down on baking sheet.
Sprinkle wrapped spears with black pepper and grated or shredded Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 400º for 10 minutes or until cheese begins to brown and meat is crispy.
