½ c shortening
½ c peanut butter( crunchy or smooth)
½ c white sugar
½ c brown sugar
1 egg
1 ¼ c all purpose flour
¾ tsp baking soda
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
Cream shortening, peanut butter, sugars and egg till smooth. Mix flour,baking soda, baking powder,and salt, slowly add to creamed mix. let chill 15 min, then roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Press flat with bottom of cup or use fork to make x
Bake for 10 -12 min
