2lbs boneless chicken breast

Chicken Gravy

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 cups chicken broth or stock
1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
1 small onion minced
2 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
Rosemary and lemon to taste

Directions:

Add the chicken breasts being sure to get them covered in the gravy.

Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or 4 to 6 hours on high. Once cooked, break up the chicken into chunks.

Serve over cooked noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice.

To easily shred the chicken, put the chicken in a separate bowl and use a hand mixer to break up.
