1kg potatoes
200g bacon bits
2 onions slices
1x250 comte cheese
125 ml white wine
125 double cream

STEP 1
pre heat oven to 180 fan
put the potato slice in a pan of boiling water until just tender
heat the oil in a frying pan add bacon and fry till crispy
and remove from the pan in the same pan add the slices of onion and fry for a cuple of mins then cover with a lid and gentry cook for 15 mins remove from the pan and set aside with the bacon

STEP 2
take the oven proof dish and arrange the potato and put the onion and bacon and cheese and repeat then on top add more cheese
mix the wine and cream together and pour over the potatoes
bake in the oven for 20 to 25 mins until bubbling and golden
