1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first five ingredients thoroughly. Blend in remaining ingredients.
Cover and chill in fridge.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Shape dough into one inch balls. Roll in sugar and put in cookie pan. Flatten with fork into a criss cross pattern.
Bake for about 10 mins

Nanny made a lot of these cookies when I was a little girl. The recipe came from Nanny's Betty Crocker Cookbook. I have had it for a long time. I think I borrowed it and never gave it back!
