1/2 cup warm water (110-115º)
1 package active dry yeast
2 1/2 cup bisquick or jiffy mix
1 beaten egg
1 tbsp. sugar
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, soft
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup desired jam or preserve

Directions:
In a large bowl dissolve yeast in water. Stir in mix, egg and the 1 tbsp. sugar. Mix well
Turn onto surface dusted with additional biscuit mix, knead gently for 20 strokes
Place dough in center of a greased 15.5x12 baking sheet, roll to 14x9
In a bowl combine cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar and juice. Spread mixture lengthwise down the center third of rectangle, make 3" long cuts at 1" intervals on both long sides
Fold strips at a angle over filling. Cover. Chill overnight
Bake in 350º F oven for 20 minutes.
Spoon jam down center of loaf - return to oven for 5 more minutes
Cool 10 minutes before cutting
