1 dozen eggs (prefer cage-free brown)
1 C heavy whipping cream (or combo of milk and cream)
1 to 2 lb sausage (prefer jimmy dean pork sausage)
8 to 10 oz. shredded cheese (jack or cheddar) or feta cheese crumbles
1 package baby spinach
1 small onion chopped
1 lb mushrooms
1 t red pepper flakes
1 T Worcestershire
1 t salt
1 T pepper
1 package of crescent sheets (usually 1 per tube)
1/2 C. butter (softened)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.

Steps
1. Prepare casserole dish, grease lightly with butter, line with crescent sheet.
2. Bake at 375º for 7-8 minutes (do not fully cook), set aside.
3. Cook sausage in large skillet, drain and set aside, reserving grease and dripping for next step.
4. Saute onion in 2 T of butter until slightly tender. (use sausage skillet to preserve drippings).
5. Add spinach and mushrooms to onion, saute until wilted, drain and add to sausage.
6. Cover baked crescent with sausage mixture.
7. Sprinkle with cheese.
8. Beat eggs, cream and spices in large measuring cup or bowl.
9. Pour egg mixture over ingredients in casserole dish.
10. Bake 1 hour or until eggs are not runny.
11. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
