Crust:
1½ cups oatmeal
1½ cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening (part butter)
1 tsp. soda


Filling:
3 cups rhubarb chopped
½ cups sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ cup water

2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix & press crust into 9X13 pan, save 1 cup to crumble on top

Filling: Boil until thickened, add butter
Pour over crust, crumble remaining crust on top


Bake 350º for 30 minutes after filling is on top
