1 cup chopped walnuts
1 package yellow cake mix
One 3.4 oz package instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup of oil
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup dark rum

Glaze:
1/4 pound butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup rum

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in rum. Preheat oven 325º. Grease tube or Bundt pan with Pam. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Mix all ingredients (not glaze). Pour batter over nuts. Bake 1 hour. Cool, invert on plate. Prick top all over with two prong fork. Drizzle and smooth glaze over top and sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze. Repeat until glaze is used up.

Dad made this cake at Christmas for the guys at work. Not sure if he followed the recipe exactly (likley a little more rum than the recipe called for and not sure if he cooked off the alcohol). But all of his friends seemed to love it!

We like this as breakfast too!
