Crust:
1 ½ c flour
1 t salt
1 T sugar
⅓ c chopped almonds
½ c + 1T oil
3 T milk

4 c fruit, sliced

Fruit Glaze:
1 c mashed fruit
½ c water
2 T cornstarch
¾ C sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: mix dry ingredients then add and mix oil, then milk. Pat into pie pan. Bake 425º for 12 minutes. Cool.
Add fruit.
Glaze: cook over medium heat for 10 min. Cool 5 min. Pour over fruit in crust.

Nancy Cusworth Berner, my friend since 2nd grade, made this for us. Super yummy! I think you could use other soft fruit. Mangoes? Berries?
I would like this crust for blue berry or razzleberry pie but Bill can’t have almonds.
