o 4 slices crusty bread (Italian, French, etc,)
o 4 slices cheddar cheese
o 4 slices provolone cheese
o 4 slices swiss cheese
o 1 tomato, sliced thin
o 8 basil leave, chiffonade
o 4 tablespoons butter, melted
o pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
• Heat panini-maker on HIGH setting
• Brush one side of each slice of bread with melted butter
• With buttered side down, arrange 2 slices of each cheese on the bread
• Top with slices of tomato and basil and sprinkle with pepper
• Place other slice of bread butter-side up on the sandwich and transfer to panini-maker
• Cook for 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted

This recipe is based on Tim Horton’s Famous Grilled Cheese Sandwich without the mayo. You can add crumbled bacon or ham slices for a non-vegetarian version or add your favorite vegetable.
