2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter softened
3/4 cups dark brown sugar (packed)
2 tsp vanilla exact
2 eggs
1 2/3 cups (10 oz) Ghirardelli 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375F.
Whisk flour with baking soda and salt. Set aside.
Best butter with both sugars on medium speed until creamy.
Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time. Mix on low speed until
eggs are incorporated.
Gradually add the flour mixture. Mix on medium until
all the flour is incorporated..
Spoon or hand mix the chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoon or small ice cream scoop on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper..
Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
Allow to cool a bit on wire rack.

Best chocolate cookies. Ghiradelli chips are the best to use. This is my go to recipe!
You can add 1 cup of chopped walnuts- I don’t like nuts in my chocolate chip cookies, so I leave them out.
