1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage, browned and crumbled
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
12 eggs
salt
pepper
⅔ cup whipping cream (unwhipped)
2 TB butter

Mushrooms (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage

Spread 2TB butter in 9 x 13 pan.

Layer:
1/2 of the cheese on the butter
All the eggs - break yolks
salt & pepper
cream
top with sausage
top with remaining cheese

Can be made ahead & refrigerated until baked.

Bake 350° 45-60 minutes until done


When I need to make a bit more I'll use 18 eggs instead of 12 and it seems to turn out ok. Debi
