2 sticks of butter
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 large box vanilla wafers
1 - 7 ounce can of sweetened coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
½ cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs, one at a time.
Crumble the vanilla wafers up and add with coconut, milk and nuts.
(I usually empty the box of vanilla wafers into a gallon sized plastic bag and use a rolling pin to break them into crumbs.)
Bake in a greased tube or Bundt pan at 275º F for 2 hours.

This was my mom's recipe and is very moist and delicious. The batter is very thick and it is best to use a large stand mixer rather than a hand mixer.
