2 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

2 eggs
1 cup cooking oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups chopped, pared apples
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.

Beat eggs and oil until light and foamy, add vanilla.

Gradually blend in dry ingredients. Stir in apples and walnuts. Pour batter in a greased 13x9x 2 cake pan. Bake in moderate oven (350º) for one hour or until cake tests done. Cool in pan or rack. Dust will confectioners sugar if desired. Makes 16 servings
