1 stick (ear) Corn
7 ounces minced Chicken

(A) Sauce
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
1 Tablespoon Soy sauce
1 Tablespoon Mirin (or Sake/wine)
1 Tablespoon sugar
Pinch of salt
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon of Sake or white wine
1 Tablespoon salt
Pinch of black pepper

1. Peel the corn and boil it in salted water for 1 minute. When it has cooled down, scrape the kernels with a knife and roughly chop them.

2. Put the minced chicken and (A) Sauce in a bowl. Knead the mixture by hand until it is sticky.

3. Pour oil in a frying pan. After forming the patties, line them up in the pan. After lining them up, place it over medium heat.

4. When they are browned, turn them over and cook the other side until browned. Sprinkle with Sake/wine and reduce the heat to low, then cover and grill for 5 minutes.

It says hamburger, but it's more like a hamburger steak. They call it "hamburg" in Japan.
