Personal Notes:
This recipe was given to me by Jackie Vaccarro. She and her husband Vic, lived on the circle and we were neighbors at our first house that Bill and I bought together. Vic was retired from the Navy. He probably was assigned to teach sailors how to swear! He even frightened our moving truck driver! Jackie could just about keep up with Vics’ swearing. We moved into our new to us house and found two rows of vines growing in the back yard. We didn’t know what they were, when all of a sudden raspberries burst out of those vines! It wasn’t long before Jackie showed up at our door with a large measuring cup. We told her to pick as many as she wanted. Soon, this delicious pie arrived from Jackie to us!
