1/2 cup sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

4 cups fresh peaches

1 tsp lemon juice

1 cup flour

1 tbsp sugar

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

3 tbsp shortening

1/2 cup milk

1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven 400 degrees.

Blend 1/2 cup sugar, corn starch, cinnamon in pan. Stir in
peaches and lemon juice.

Cook that in a pan until boils. Boil and stir for 1 min.

Poor into ungreased 2-quart casserole pan. Keep fruit mixer
hot in over while preparing the biscuit topping.

BISCUIT TOPPING:
Measure: flour, 1 tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt into a
bowl. Add shortening and milk.

Cut through shortening 6 times.

Mix until dough forms a ball.


Drop dough (six spoons full) onto hot fruit topping. Bake 25-30
min or until golden brown.
