1 pound peeled, deveined shrimp, 16 to 20 per pound
Enough sliced bacon to wrap each shrimp, allowing ½ slice of bacon for each shrimp
1 tablespoon olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

Cut bacon slices in half and cook until about half way done. Microwave or bake.

Preheat oven to 425°F. Let bacon cool. Meanwhile, mix olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. To prepare the shrimp, dip each shrimp into the oil mixture. Wrap a half slice of bacon around each shrimp, securing the bacon with a toothpick. Arrange the shrimp on a rack placed over a baking sheet. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes until shrimp is pink and cooked.
