Directions:Mix all ingredients together and freeze in a sorbet/ice-cream maker (follow, the machine instructions).
Yields 1 quart of sorbet.
If you don't have an ice-cream/sorbet maker you can still make this – by pouring the ingredients into a container, popping it in the freezer and then taking it out every hour or so to whisk and stir, in order to make it smooth and to stop ice crystals forming……Sorbet is easy to make…..not custard base and lighter than normal ice cream. |

Notes: This is an intense dessert; sweet and tart with amazing flavor and color! Super easy to make with only 3 ingredients. This is a traditional French recipe. In the 1980's Haagen Daz carried a Cassis Sorbet in their offerings. Todd loved that flavor and when he saw bottled black currant juice at the store he decided to recreate this flavor to great success! This is one of my favorite desserts.
