2 - 6½ oz. minced clams
1 c. minced onions
1 c. diced celery
2 c. finely diced potatoes
1 qt. half & half
few grains pepper
¾ c. flour
¾ c. butter
1½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Drain juice from clams and pour over vegetables in medium saucepan and add enough water to barely cover. Simmer over medium heat 20 minutes. Melt butter-add flour and blend, cook a few minutes, add half-half and cook till smooth. Add undrained vegetables and clams-heat through. Season with salt and pepper and sugar.
