Cake:
3 eggs
¾ cup sugar
⅓ cup oil
¾ cake meal
5 apples, peeled and sliced

Topping:
⅓ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and oil until the mixture is light.

2. Add the cake meal and mix well.

3. Pour half of the mixture into a lightly greased 8 or 9-inch square baking pan.

4. Distribute half of the apples over the batter.

5. Pour the remaining batter over the apples and cover with the remaining apples.

6. Combine the topping ingredients in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the second layer of apples.

7. Bake in a pre-heated oven on 350º for 1½ hours.

*Use a 9x13 sized pan if you double the recipe.
