1 large head lettuce chopped medium fine
2 cups chopped celery
1 cup chopped green onions
1 red pepper chopped fine (for color)
1 pkg frozen peas thawed but not cooked
2 cups mayonnaise
2 T sugar
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar)
1/2 lb bacon cooked crisp and broken into pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Layer salad starting with lettuce, green onions, red pepper peas. Add mayonnaise and seal dressing good around the edges. Sprinkle sugar over dressing and refrigerate overnight. Just before serving sprinkle cheese and bacon on top.
