Ingredients: 2 pounds fresh dough cut in 4 pieces 1 stick pepperoni, peeled and chopped thin ½ pound American cheese, chopped 2 pounds red or green peppers, diced and fried in covered pan till soft 1 egg, beaten

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º
Roll each piece of dough on well oiled baking mat lengthwise to ¼ inch thickness.
Mix the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl. Spread ¼ of the mixture onto dough, spreading evenly. Roll the dough over to cover mixture. Carefully lift onto greased cookie sheet. Put oil on your hands and pat it on the roll. Make sure the seams are on the bottom.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
Carefully lift each roll with 2 spatulas off baking sheet to cool.
When cooled, slice and serve. |
