25 Cucumbers (small)
10 Onions (small)
C Pickling salt
1 qt Vinegar cider
2 lb Sugar (4 Cups)
4 tsp Celery seeds
2 tsp Mustard seed
1 tsp Turmeric
Pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers and cut into 8" slices. Peel and slice onions. Put into large bowl or pan, layering onions and cucumbers. Sprinkle with pickling salt. Place in refrigerator and let stand for 2 hours. Drain thoroughly, rinse in cold water. Mix vinegar, sugar, celery seed, onions & cucumbers and heat slowly for 10 minutes. Stir in Turmeric. Remove from heat and pack in sterilized jars.
