1/2 c old fashioned oatmeal
1/2 c walnuts
1/2 c sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º Pour blueberries into 2 quart casserole dish. If frozen, place in preheating oven until defrosted. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp of water over berries. Sprinkle oatmeal, walnuts, and sliced almonds evenly over top (in that order). Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until berries are bubbly and nuts are toasted golden brown.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The trick is to cook until the berries are bubbly and juicy. The oat and nut topping is wonderfully crunchy with a toasted flavor. This is also a wonderful breakfast.
John doesn't consider it dessert, for sweet lovers in your family you can pour a few tablespoons of honey or maple syrup over the berries before adding the topping.
