3-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2. tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

3 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Oven 375 degrees
Grease a cookie sheet.

Stir together flour,soda,cream of tartar and salt.
Beat butter for 30 seconds. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well combined.
Form dough into one inch balls, roll in mixture of 3 Tbsp sugar and cinnamon.
Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet, flatten slightly with the bottom of a drinking glass.
Bake in a 375 degree oven about 8 minutes or till light golden.Cool on rack.

This recipe is for my Nephew, Ryan, who wasn’t happy with previous Snickerdoodles he’d eaten. 2 cups of sugar ought to do it for him. lol
