⅔ c. butter, softened
2 c. brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp. cherry brandy or cherry juice
1½ tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. salt
2 ¼ c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts, toasted
¾ c. chopped white or dark sweet chocolate
½ c. coarsely chopped candied cherries

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º. Lightly grease 9x13 pan. In large bowl, beat butter on medium 30 seconds. Add brown sugar and beat. Beat in eggs, brandy, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Add flour; beat just until blended. Stir in nuts, chocolate, and cherries. Spread in pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool completely then cut.
