Pie Filling

Graham cracker pie crust
4 eggs
1 can condensed milk
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 t. grated lemon rind
Crushed lemon drop candy for garnish, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Dot pie crust with butter. Put in cold oven, turn temperature to 350º and cook 10 minutes. Cool. Separate eggs (save whites for meringue). Beat egg yolks. Add milk. Add lemon juice and rind and stir until thick. Pour into graham cracker crust. Top with meringue.

4 egg whites
1/2 t. cream of tartar
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 t. vanilla

Directions:

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until frothy. Add sugar gradually. Add vanilla last. Beat 4 extra minutes. Spread on top of pie. Bake at 325º for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with crushed lemon drop candy
