Strawberry Pretzel Salad Recipe

2 Cups crushed pretzels
3 T. sugar
3/4 c. melted butter (or margarine)
1 c. sugar
16 oz Cool Whip
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
6 oz Strawberry Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
2 - 10oz pkgs frozen strawberries

1st Layer: Mix together crushed pretzels, 3 T. sugar, and melted butter. Spread in 9x13 pan. Bake 8 minutes at 400. Let cool.

2nd Layer: Cream 1c. sugar and cream cheese. Add Cool Whip and spread on 1st layer when cool. Refrigerate 20 minutes.

3rd Layer: Dissolve 6oz Strawberry Jell-O in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries (still frozen). Do not stir! (Strawberries will thaw in Jell-O). Set aside for 20 minutes then spread on to of 2nd layer. Refrigerate.
