Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lb. ground beef (or half beef/half pork)
1 envelope Lipton's Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 can diced Rotel Tomatoes
2 eggs, beaten
1½ c. oats or breadcrumbs (I use oats)
1 sm. jar Prego Spaghetti Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix meat, soup mix. Rotel. eggs and oats together. Shape into a very large loaf or make 2 smaller (1 lb.) loaves. Put into a greased baking dish and pour as much spaghetti sauce as you like over it. There is usually about half a jar left over. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. I usually make 2 loaves and freeze one for a later time. Don't bake it, and don't put sauce on it until you are ready to bake it.

Remember if you make 2 loaves and freeze one, you may not use meat that you have already frozen. Best to assemble this when you bring the meat home from the store.

Personal Notes:
Michael found this recipe from Peggy Wieting in the Teddy Bear Cookbook, from St. Timothy's when he went to college (early 1990's). So I have been making this ever since, and it is one of our very favorites.
