1 lemon, halved and seeded
2 T + 1 t Montreal steak seasoning
2 (12 oz) cans root beer
1 c BBQ sauce
1 T apple cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat grill to medium-low or heat oven to 325º. Prick meaty side of ribs all over with fork. Squeeze lemon over ribs. Rub to coat and let sit 10 min. Rub with 2 T steak seasoning. Place on grill or baking sheet, meat side up. Cover grill if grilling. Grill or roast until very tender, about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in pot over medium-high heat, combine root beer, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar and remaining steak seasoning; cook until thickened, about 35 minutes. Brush ribs twice with sauce during last 20 minutes of cooking time.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Carolina: For sauce, instead of the root beer and BBQ sauce, use 2 cups ketchup and 1/2 cup molasses and increase the vinegar to 1/4 cup.
