2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 cup dried rose petals
¼ cup green cardamoms
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water and sugar in a heavy bottom pan. Lightly pound the petals and cardamoms before adding it to the pan. Bring it to a boil and then, bring down the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add the lemon juice, give it a stir and switch off the gas.
Strain the syrup through a fine sieve layered with muslin cloth. Let it cool completely and then, store it in a glass jar. You could keep it in the refrigerator for a month.
