3 egg yolks
½ c. sugar
1¼ c. pumpkin
½ c. milk
½ tsp. salt
cinnamon
pumpkin pie spice
1 env. Knox gelatin
¼ c. cold water
3 egg whites beaten stiff
¼ c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks and ½ c. sugar until thick. Add pumpkin, milk, salt, spices. Cook in double boiler until thick. Soften gelatin in cold water and stir into hot mixture. Beat egg whites stiff and add ¼ c. sugar. Add to pumpkin mixture after it has cooled. Pour into cool pie shell and chill until set. Serve with whipped cream as topping.
