3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. raisins
1 c. butter or oleo
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
2 c. oatmeal

Mix the eggs, vanilla and raisins together and soak for 1 hour. Cream the margarine, white sugar and brown sugar. Add the flour, salt, cinnamon and soda to mixture. Add the oatmeal and mix together. Add the raisin mixture (dough will be stiff). Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
