Adobe All Purpose Seasoning
Morton Season All Season Salt
Sazon Goya con cilantro achiote (coriander and Annatto) seasoning 3 packages
5 pounds of Chicken (Your preference, Breasts, On the Bone)
I bag of Frozen Shrimp 2lbs
Two Large Onions
3 cloves garlic
Three to Four Large Peppers Assortment: (2 Green Pepper, 2 Poblano, 1 Red Pepper)
4 Carrots
1lb green beans
2-3 tablespoons salt
˝ cup vegetable oil

1. Chop up the onions and peppers medium grain

2. Chop up the carrots and green beans to a medium grain

3. Place 2 ˝ cups rice in a bowl and rinse three or four times. Let stand in water of 15 minutes

4. Boil the chicken in a pot of water separately until cooked (about 15 or 20minutes)

If you used bone in chicken, (Remove Skin and Boil 20-25 minutes until done then drain and De-bone chicken and chop to medium grain). Reserve the water the chicken was boiled in. This will be used later. marinade with Morton’s season salt generously.

5. In another large pot turn heat on medium and add ˝ cup of vegetable oil

6. Throw in chopped onions and peppers and sauté for 7-10 minutes , and add a teaspoon of salt

7. Throw in the chopped carrots and green beans, Mix and continue to sauté. and add a teaspoon of salt

8. Throw in the boiled marinated chicken into the same pot with the onions, peppers, carrots, and green beans and mix it in

9. Throw in the 3 cloves finely chopped garlic

10. Throw in the 2 ˝ cups of rinsed rice and mix it in

11. Throw in the bag of frozen Shrimp and mix it in

12. Add three packs of the Sazon Goya con cilantro achiote (coriander and Annatto) seasoning to the top of the pot spreading it around the top with all the vegetables, chicken, and rice.

13. Add about three cups of the reserved chicken broth you reserved when you boiled the chicken

14. Place the cover on the pot and simmer (About 20-25 Minutes) until rice has cooked along with the rest of the ingredients.
