Ingredients: 1 loaf of French Bread 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 16 ounces medium shrimp, peeled, deveined and roughly chopped 4-5 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or more, to taste 1/4 cup white wine 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice Salt and black pepper, to taste 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature 1/4 cup sour cream 3 tablespoons mayonnaise 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan

Directions:1. Turn oven to broil, high
2. Slice French bread into 1-1.5 inch thick pieces
3. Spread some butter on the pieces
4. Toast bread for 2 minutes or so until it’s the color you prefer
5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
6. Lightly oil a 9-inch baking dish or coat with nonstick spray.
7. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
8. Add shrimp, garlic and red pepper flakes.
9. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pink, about 4 minutes.
10. Stir in wine and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
11. Bring to a simmer, until shrimp are cooked through maybe 2 more minutes
12. Reduce heat to low
13. Stir in cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, 1/4 cup mozzarella and Parmesan.
14. Spread mixture into the prepared baking dish
15. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup mozzarella.
16. Place into oven and bake until bubbly and golden, about 12-15 minutes. |
