Pie crust for 9 or 10 inch pie
6 large cooking apples
3/4 cup sugar
2 - 4 tablespoons flour (use more if you know the apples are juicy)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Line a 9-inch or 10-inch pie pan with half of the pie crust.
2. Peel, core, and slice the apples and place them in a bowl.
3. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and flour and sprinkle on the apples.
4. Placed prepared apples into the crust lined pie pan.
5. Dot with butter.
6. Roll out the other half of the pie crust and place it over the apples.
7. Pinch the crusts together and cut slits to allow the steam to escape.
8. Dip a pastry brush into a small amount of milk and brush it evenly all over the top crust. Sprinkle with sugar.
9. Bake at 400º for 30 - 40 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
