1 unbaked 9" pie shell
3 eggs
1 can pure pumpkin
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups of milk (canned milk also works)

1. Prepare pie shell
2. Mix all the ingredients together until well blended
3. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pie shell
4. Bake at 425º for 15 minutes
5. Reduce the oven temperature to 350º and bake for an additional 40 - 50 minutes or until the pie filling is set and when a knife is inserted in the center, it comes out clean
6. When the pie is cool, place it in the refrigerator
7. Just before serving, whip heavy cream and about a tablespoon of confectioners sugar together until it forms stiff peaks
8. Dollop or pipe the whipped cream onto the pumpkin pie
