Ingredients:
Ingredients:
¾ cups butter or soft margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs and flavorings, mix thoroughly. Measure flour by dipping method (can level with a knife but do not tap down) add baking powder and salt, add flour.

Refrigerate at least 2 hours. I usually mix one day then bake the next. I also divide the dough and add paste food color to the dough. Also, I add cocoa to make brown and chocolate.

Roll dough ¼ inch thick on floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased pans and bake at 350°F for 7-8 minutes.

Soft cookies and very tasty! Most often I double or triple the recipe.
