1-1/2 pounds broccoli, cut into florets
1/2 pound dried linguine

Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch until just crisp-tender, about 3 minutes. Drain the broccoli florets and rinse with cold water; drain again. Cook the pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite; drain well. Meanwhile, heat the oil in heavy large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and sauté 30 seconds. Add the blanched broccoli florets and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes. Add the pasta to the skillet and turn to coat with olive oil. Add fresh lemon juice and toss to coat. Mix in the Parmesan cheese. Season the pasta generously with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the pine nuts on top.
