1 c vinegar
1/4 c ketchup
1/4 c apple cider
1 1/4 t Texas Pete's hot sauce
3 T brown sugar
2 t salt
1 1/4 t crushed red pepper
1 t black pepper

Directions:

Put all ingredients in a jar with a lid, shake to combine and refrigerate 1 day to 1 week before use. Can store for up to a month.

This BBQ sauce was by the same author as the Mustard BBQ sauce recipe. Since I liked it, I wanted to keep this one too. I haven't made it yet. I'll have to substitute for the apple cider as I never have that on hand. Maybe if I use apple cider vinegar for the vinegar and a splash of water or something to make up the volume it will be fine.
