1/2 onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can of Ortega chopped green chiles, including juice
1 or 2 picked jalapenos chopped

Directions:
In a small amount of oil, saute onion and garlic until translucent.

Add chopped tomatoes, green chiles and juice, and let simmer until it cooks down a bit.

The jalapenos are to add some spice, so it's totally up to you whether to add or not. You can use fresh jalapenos or pickled ones - again, personal choice.

Personal Notes:
Emily says she eats this sauce over chile rellanos. Can't wait to try it the next time I make them!
